Eli Pitcock is a collaborative and driven young public relations and graphic communications media professional eager to enter the workforce and support an organization with valuable work.

Eli graduated from Murray State University in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Graphic Communications Media.

Eli has gained various experience within the public relations industry, including experience with social media management, email marketing, media pitching, press release creation, video production, content creation and more. He is experienced with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite as well as Final Cut Pro, the Microsoft Office Suite, Apple’s iWork and various media and research databases.

He recently completed a one-year tenure as a PR/Agency Marketing Intern at BBDO New York, supporting new work launches and agency initiatives, as well as assisting in the creation of media pitches and PR plans, creating detailed media reports, conducting thorough research over various relevant topics and more.

Eli also worked as a Red Carpet Escort at the 56th Annual CMA Awards. His responsibilities included escorting artists and their publicity teams through multiple photo opportunities as well as serving as a liaison between multiple high-profile media outlets and artists and their publicity teams, offering interviews and working to gain media exposure for artists.

He has also previously worked with Murray Pride to assist in planning Murray, Kentucky’s 2022 LGBTQ+ Pride event, which consisted of creating physical public relations materials as well as digital content to be posted to Instagram and Facebook. He also assisted in the formation of the organization’s new nonprofit, Murray Pride, LLC.

Eli also previously worked with the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business at Murray State University to manage and create posts for the college’s social media, including Instagram and Twitter, and with the Monroe County Tourism Commission based in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, to build a public relations campaign from the ground up to raise awareness of and increase traffic to local BBQ restaurants.

He was recognized as the 2023 Murray State University Outstanding Senior in Public Relations and was placed on the Dean’s List at Murray State for five of his six semesters.

Eli is currently looking for full-time opportunities in the public relations or advertising industries and hopes to be based in New York City.
